Here it is! Officially, it is mud season! Do you have your tools ready? Are your seeds planted? Have you sharpened your mower blades and dug out your rototiller? Have you visited any of the plump buds on the trees, or watched the tips of the bulbs peeking out between snowstorms?

• We have! Here at Stonington Gardens the greenhouses are a warm and toasty home to lots of seedlings and plugs that have begun the season for us a few weeks ago. As spring progresses what are just the smallest whisps of plants will be lush and wonderful annuals full of color, delicious vegetable plants that Nancy chose herself, and lots and lots of new perennials waiting to feel the sun.
  
  
• Visit Stonington Gardens to pick out your favorite pansies to brighten the earliest planters in colors of gold, purple, blue and rusty red. Following soon after are all the fabulous annuals we all know and love including our own fabulous Stonington Gardens combo pots and hanging baskets. Don’t forget one of the first signs of spring, the Star Magnolia, or the splashy and cheerful azaleas and lilacs all here at our farm.
