The colorful and cheerful pansies will be blooming soon, and lots of exciting new perennials are on the way. Who doesn’t love a spring day with daffodils nodding their bright heads in waves of yellow, or the pastel glory of a Kwanzann cherry tree on every street? Who cannot get excited by seedlings growing inches a day and promising such glory in summer! The smell of awakening soil, the warm breezes, the tips of summers’ perennial glory peeking out from the moist ground all herald the coming season of color and transformation.

Now is a great time to plan for 2008 and we are here to help you with your vision. Come in and find out about our We Plan, You Plant program…a way to enjoy the fun of gardening while using our design expertise and plant knowledge to assure success.

As the ground warms and the bulbs come to life, we are also renewing our commitment to inspiring our customers to try new things and to have fun in the garden and to create a sanctuary at your home that you will be proud to share and eager to spend time in. Haven’t you heard? The outdoors is the new indoors! We have been working all winter to transform areas of the garden center into new display gardens so that our customers will have new places to explore. Stonington Gardens is a multi-faceted horticultural company providing landscape design services, custom landscape installations, organic and sustainable landscape products and quality plants. A year-round business, Stonington Gardens is open Monday through Saturday from mid-March through December 24th, with hours by appointment in January and February.
